At Art & Soul, it is our mission to bring the healing power of the arts to children in underserved communities and those battling chronic illness. We believe that art nurtures the soul and empowers young minds—and that every child deserves access to creative expression.
Today, countless children are denied access to the arts due to school budget cuts, limited resources, and the isolating effects of long-term medical care. As arts programs continue to disappear, we are committed to filling the gap. We know that no child should be denied this privilege due to financial circumstances, or physical disabilities.
Through free art classes, curated art kits, and fundraising, Art & Soul works to ensure that art remains within reach for every child, no matter their circumstance.
We offer hands-on art classes taught by Founder Elisa Akin in community centers, giving children a safe space to explore, create, and connect with others.
With funds raised through community support and donations, we create and distribute art kits to children who may not have access to materials.
